Tim May
notes by Rick Shubb
Tim May is one of those Nashville cats — he seems like he was born playing. On guitar, mandolin and other mando family instruments, dobro, and various stringed instruments, his skills are very much in demand, and his list of recording and touring credentials with top artists is impressive.
We met Tim at the summer NAMM show in Nashville, and were pleased to learn that he has been using Shubb capos ever since he started playing, Since then he has visited us at the Nashville and Anaheim shows, often favoring us with a tune or two. At a few of the shows he has showed up a day early to help us prepare our booth for the show. What a guy! And this year (2019) we called on Tim to host our booth at Merlefest.
We are very pleased to regard Tim May as a member of the Shubb Capos family of artists.
“My S1 Guitar Capo give me the same great clarity and tone anywhere i put it on the neck.I love the S1: I can dial it in for as much or as little pressure as i need to get that great sound Shubb is known for.” — Tim May
