Tony McManus

Tony McManus has been another welcome addition to our family of Shubb Artists. My good friend, and another great fingerstyle guitarist, Richard Gilewitz introduced me to Tony back in 2009 at the NAMM show, and said, “You should check this guy out. He’s a like a ninja; quiet and reserved, but will floor you like a Bruce Lee one-inch punch!”

Sure enough, I found the Scotsman who now calls Canada home to be a complete gentleman – and he did floor me with his playing. If you have a chance, go see Tony… but be sure to stand more than an inch away.
